About Koala Kids Beds
Koala Kids Beds was created to give customers a better place to shop for safe and reliable bunk beds that are easier to assemble at affordable prices.
I have been living in America for almost 20 years while owning and operating a successful business along with my wife Mary and two great kids. I realized there was a real gap in the bunk bed market for quality beds at reasonable prices.
In researching my dad’s bunk bed wholesale business “Flatpack Furniture” in Australia and the demand he was experiencing for his improved beds, I soon realized that consumers wanted more than just a huge selection of beds, they wanted better beds without having to pay big prices. This was also evident through the success of my sister’s retail store selling the same improved beds to very happy customers.
Our goals are simple, take the top selling beds and make them even better and more affordable.
After researching the market and analyzing the customer reviews, we saw that we could make some changes to these beds to improve the quality and make them more user friendly.
Our second goal was to make them more affordable. We have achieved this by travelling to Brazil where the beds are made and dealing directly with the manufacturer. Our family has been doing business in Brazil for over 30 years, we are able to import directly from the manufacturer and eliminate the middle man. We frequently meet with our manufacturers in Brazil to develop better quality bunk beds. We are a small family business with lower overheads than the larger companies and selling exclusively on the internet which allows us to pass the savings onto you. We stand behind all our products and offer the best in customer service.
